Internship - South Africa @For over 20 years, we have successfully hosted international interns at our Cape Town office, many of whom applied through your university portal in the past. Our interns come from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and join us to fulfill the requirements of their university programs. @Internship Conditions: @o The internship is not a paid position; however, interns receive a flat-rate allowance as pocket money for local transportation. @o Interns are responsible for all international travel arrangements, accommodation, and transportation during their stay in South Africa. @o Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. @o A contract will be drawn up between both parties to confirm the internship. @Internship Tasks in Product & Marketing: @• Updating our websites using the in-house content management system (www.hideawaysafrica.com, www.jenmansafaris.com, www.travel2madagascar.com) – no HTML knowledge required. @• Translation of the monthly e-newsletter. @• International mail management and database administration. @• Assisting with the compilation of marketing materials in English and German. @• Researching and writing web copy. @• General correspondence with clients and agents. @• General marketing tasks and supporting the marketing department. @• Assisting with the creation of product descriptions and customer itineraries. @• Working on upcoming projects. @• Integration into Other departments as needed. @We require: @* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word @* Ability to communicate and write fluently in professional German @* A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and contribute. @We are currently accepting new internship applications for the coming year. @Please email sandra@jenmansafaris.com for more information.
