🐻 About Berlin Future Hub

Berlin Future Hub is Urban Impact's flagship program, connecting Berlin's most ambitious startups, scale-ups and SMEs in the urban innovation space with international opportunities. Through curated delegation trips, strategic matchmaking, events, and a growing ecosystem, we help founders and operators to expand their networks and scale their solutions beyond Berlin.

Our focus is on the future of cities, from climate tech and urban tech to smart city solutions and social innovation. We bring together startups, public institutions, investors, industry partners, and international ecosystems to create collaborations and partnerships and accelerate impact.

As part of the Urban Impact team, you'll help shape this community from behind the scenes. From supporting events and international delegation trips to communication with relevant stakeholders, you'll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of startups, innovation, and urban transformation.

Your Role

As an Intern / Working Student, you'll support Berlin Future Hub across event management, communications, and community building. You'll work closely with our team and gain hands-on experience in running an innovation & internationalisation program.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning and delivery of workshops and events
• Support the Program Manager with stakeholder communication & engagement
• Help create communication materials and social media content
• Maintain program documentation, Notion workspace and CRM fully organised & updated
• Conduct light research and administrative tasks
• Jump into assisting new projects where needed

Who We're Looking For

• You're currently enrolled at a university and are based in Berlin.
• You're highly organised and enjoy keeping projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
• You are fluent in both German & English, and have excellent communication skills.
• You're highly proactive and enjoy taking ownership.
• You're interested in startups, innovation, sustainability, &/or entrepreneurship.
• You're comfortable working in a collaborative team.

Practical Details

• Intended start date on the last week of August
• 20 hours/week (can be full-time if university requires)
• Impact Hub Berlin Membership
• 6 months, possibility to extend
