Pausify

Pausify is the biggest community of book lovers in Berlin. Currently, we're building a platform that will bring book lovers together offline — anywhere in the world.

The format is simple: sessions where people arrive, spend 60 minutes in shared focused silence, and then stay to talk, exchange thoughts, and meet others.

We started in Berlin, where thousands of people have already joined our sessions, with a community of 27K+ people on Instagram. Now we’re taking the next step: building a platform where anyone in Germany can find or host a Pausify session nearby — in a café, park, bakery, living room, or wherever people want to meet.

Our goal is simple but ambitious: make reading more social, more visible and a bigger part of everyday life again.

Marketing, Social Media & Content (Pflichtpraktikum)

Beschreibung des Praktikums

What you’ll do

  • Create content for Pausify on social media
  • Experiment with formats and concepts and learn what works
  • Turn Pausify events, people and our mission into good stories
  • Get hands-on experience with Meta Ads (setting up campaigns and understanding what performs)
  • Help shape the voice and content style of a growing brand
  • Bring your own marketing ideas — if you see something we should try, we want to hear it!

The work is mostly remote, but you’ll sometimes join Pausify events in Berlin to film content.
